SOLUTIONS FOR A Better LIFE

Committed to improving your quality of life and your smile!

We deliver excellent care, using cutting-edge technology in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Of course our primary focus is evaluating tooth arrangement and looking at the overall health of the teeth and surrounding structures. In addition to the fundamental orthodontic structures; Dr. Chmura also evaluates how you’re sleeping, whether or not you have headaches, or chronic pain because these issues affect our patients overall health and quality of life. We have the latest 3D-imaging technology to diagnose and treat with the highest level of precision.

3-D CONE BEAM DIGITAL SCANNER

You’ve heard it said that better information equals better results. We don’t just agree. We prove it every day. With our cone beam scanner, we’re able to get far more information than with traditional x-rays and with a fraction of the exposure time of older technologies. We use the incredible detail to create more precise treatment plans that make every aspect of treatment better.

I-TERO DIGITAL SCANNER

Remember those goopy impressions of your mouth you had to suffer through as a kid? Well if you ever had one – you’d remember it. In our digital treatment environment there’s an option to bite impressions – the I-Tero Digital Scanner. With I-Tero, we create a detailed, digital map of your teeth. For us this means extra detail and the anywhere accessibility of digital data. For our patients it means no goop and the ability to replace things, like aligners and retainers, without the need to come to the office for an appointment – saving time and money. Thought you’d like that.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a condition in which your breathing stops periodically during sleep, as many as 20-30 times per hour. Each time you stop breathing in your sleep, the resulting lack of oxygen alerts your brain, which temporarily wakes you up to restart proper breathing. Since the time spent awake is so brief, most people with sleep apnea don't remember it, and many feel like they are getting a good night's sleep when, in fact, they are not. The constant wake-sleep, wake-sleep cycle prevents those with sleep apnea from achieving deep sleep, resulting in a constant drowsy feeling during the day.

Dr. Chmura’s experience and knowledge is extensive! In fact, Dr. Chmura is one of the foremost teachers of Sleep Apnea and Orthodontics. Doctors from all over the world come together to learn from him. He also suffers from severe sleep apnea himself and knows first hand the debilitating effects it can have on your life and wants to minimize that risk for as many people as possible.

  • 1. What is an initial examination like?

Dr. Chmura is a highly trained and reputable Doctor, surrounded by a team of hand-picked staff. In just an hour with our team, we’ll be able to give you a full examination and assess your needs, giving you a complete treatment plan customized for you.

From the results of the exam, we’ll tell and show you exactly what challenges you have with your teeth. You will learn what it will take to deliver you your perfect smile, when to expect your new smile, and how to do it all within your unique budget!

Then, you can choose how to move forward based on your personal situation. Some patients can get started that same day! It’s that easy when you choose the right doctors! Ready to see for yourself?

  • 2. Are there any costs for x-rays or diagnostics during the initial consult?

    No, they are complimentary.

  • 3. What are your prices?

The costs will vary based on the treatment plan you choose with the Doctor. Many patients choose our flexible payment options such as minimal down payment with monthly payments as low as $150/mo, with no hidden fees and no interest.

  • 4. Why should I see Dr. Chmura instead of someone else?

Your smile might be made worse if you go somewhere else. You also run the risk of losing teeth and your bite might be altered for the worse! The key to great orthodontics is not just getting the teeth straightened, but keeping them that way. We are not happy until you are happy and we will not settle for less than 100%.

  • 5. What types of services do you offer?

We specialize in orthodontic treatment and offer services such as:

    - Traditional Metal Braces

    - Clear Braces

    - Lingual Braces

    - Accelerated Orthodontics

    - Invisalign

We also provide children with preventative orthodontic treatment (if needed) or full treatment.

  • 6. Is there a cost for an initial examination/consultation?

    No, it is complimentary.

  • 7. What are my options for insurance? Do you take insurance?

Insurance information can change from time to time so it would be best to speak with one of our team members to ask more specific questions regarding your insurance!

  • 8. What is the difference between an orthodontist and a dentist?

An orthodontist is a dentist, but a dentist is not an orthodontist. An orthodontist is a dentist that graduation in the top 3% of their class and was accepted into an orthodontic residency program. Both dentists and orthodontists can perform orthodontics, but orthodontists like Dr. Chmura went through an additional 2-3 years of full-time schooling just to learn how to move teeth into the most beautiful and stable positions.

  • 9. How long will my treatment take?

This is a very difficult question to answer because it can vary depending on the complexity of the case. This would be a great question to ask at your consultation.

  • 10. Am I a good fit for orthodontics?

If you have any of the following, you may be a candidate for orthodontic treatment:

Overbite: Sometimes called “buck teeth,” where the upper front teeth lie too far forward (stick out) over the lower teeth.

Underbite: A “bulldog” appearance, where the lower teeth are too far forward or the upper teeth too far back.

Crossbite: When the upper teeth do not come down slightly in front of the lower teeth when biting together normally.

Open Bite: Space between the biting surfaces of the front and/or side teeth when the back teeth bite together.

Misplaced Midline: When the center of your upper front teeth does not line up with the center of your lower front teeth.

Spacing: Gaps, or spaces, between the teeth as a result of missing teeth or teeth that do not “fill up” the mouth.

Crowding: When there are too many teeth for the dental ridge to accommodate.
