i-CAT® Cone Beam 3D Dental Imaging System
The i-CAT® Cone Beam 3D Imaging System allows your orthodontist to provide quick, comfortable, and effective imaging for the most precise orthodontic diagnosis possible. i-CAT® technology provides 3D data for:
Patients can take advantage of a more complete orthodontic treatment with i-CAT® imaging. Its innovative features include:
iTero® Intraoral Scanner
The iTero® Intraoral Scanner allows your orthodontist to provide quick, reliable, comfortable, and effective impressions without goopy impression material in the mouth. This will eliminate the known uncomfortable sensations, occasional peculiar taste, and undesirable mess. The digital information can be relayed immediately to the laboratory and most importantly, the patient can just sit back and relax throughout the whole process.
Continuous scanning design lets you scan in motion. The software automatically detects and repositions scanning start and stop points when you move to a new scanning position within the scanned segment.
And while you are scanning, the iTero® Intraoral scanner is engineered to simultaneously process the scan. It automatically stitches together images for rendering in the correct order, adapts to changes in positioning, and detects and removes soft tissue. Capture everything and view exactly what you need to see.
Color scanning gives you a significant leap forward in visualization. The color sensor is integrated in the iTero® Intraoral scanner, and the patented dual-aperture lens system is designed to simultaneously capture 2D images in color with highly accurate 3D laser scanning. Color scanning can make it easier to distinguish between gingival and tooth structures for a more precise clinical evaluation.
SureSmile® technology uses robotic hands for wire bending to provide a more precise bend in the archwires. Which, leads to a better fit and an average of 30% shorter treatment time. The OraScanner is a hand-held device that functions much like a 3D digital camera, taking pictures of your teeth using flashing white light. The images create a 3D model in real-time during the scanning procedure. SureSmile® archwires don't move teeth any faster than conventional archwires however, the time difference is due to the computerized treatment plan, made possible through 3D imaging. Instead of a continually evolving plan with frequent adjustments, your teeth move along a more direct path to their target positions. Your overall treatment is shorter due to the shorter distance the teeth have to travel.
Insignia is an interactive software system that allows your doctor to create your smile specifically for you. Insignia software uses virtual 3D imaging to generate a model of your mouth. Using the digital model, your doctor is able to analyze the most effective and efficient way to help you achieve a perfect smile.
There are several benefits to being treated with Insignia. Below are a few reasons Insignia provides a higher quality of orthodontic treatment:
INBRACE are lingual braces, which use a bracket and wire system like traditional orthodontics, except they are bonded on the back of your teeth making them invisible to everyone else.
The fundamental inspiration for INBRACE is efficient tooth movement. INBRACE Smartwires minimize the tooth movement required to achieve your smile which can reduce treatment time.
INBRACE uses patented self driving Gentleforce technology to guide your teeth to their ideal position. This means fewer discomfort events - no more painful tightenings or forcing your teeth into a plastic mold every two weeks.
We are proud to be on the cutting edge of everything new and innovative in the orthodontic world. In our office we have the capability through using the Form 2 3D printer. A finely-calibrated optical system ensures precise prints straight out of the box, using resins tuned for the specific accuracy needs of a range of dental applications. With accuracy tolerances for margin lines and die surfaces as tight as ± 35 microns on Dental Model Resin, the Form 2 delivers the same precision as large-format dental 3D printers that cost $75,000 or more.
Seamless integrations with 3Shape (our digital scanners) make 3D printed digital workflows as easy as clicking “Next”. This means that we will be able to produce your model in house within hours.
